Samudera offloads ageing tanker
Jakarta: Indonesian shipping firm Samudera Shipping Line is continuing to cut back older tonnage as it seeks to return to the black. The company has announced it has offloaded the Sinar Anyer, an ageing 2,781 dwt chemical tanker. The 18-year-old ship's sale sees Samudera's fleet now hover around the mid-20s mark, a mix of containerships and tankers. [17/03/14]
