SapuraKencana eyes $7bn in new projects

Kuala Lumpur: SapuraKencana Petroleum plans to bid for up to $7 billion worth of projects locally and internationally this year, according to president and group ceo Tan Sri Shahril Shamsuddin.

"2014 is a year of executing the order book that has been garnered over the years and continue to bid for more projects globally," Shahril said at Oil and Gas Year Malaysia 2014. He added that the company’s order book is currently about $7bn.

According to Shahril, SapuraKencana will start to execute its work in Brazil in the second quarter of this year and the company is also actively bidding in Africa for drilling business and will continue to develop the Mexican market. [27/02/14]
