SapuraKencana secures $113m Pemex contract

Malaysia’s SapuraKencana Petroleum has announced that wholly-owned subsidiary, SapuraKencana Mexicana, has been awarded a $113m contract by Mexican state-owned oil and gas company Pemex.

The contract is for the procurement and construction of a 36-inch 18km sour gas pipeline in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico.

The scope of work comprises transportation and installation of pipelines, crossings, top side modifications and subsea works, including procurement and project management. Works is scheduled to commence in July 2016 and is due to be completed by March 2017.
