Scomi wins Petronas contracts in Myanmar

Kuala Lumpur: Scomi Energy Services, part of the Scomi Group, has secured two contracts from Petronas with a combined value of RM90m.

The deals, with Petronas Carigali Myanmar and Petronas Carigali (Hong Kong) are three year deals for services including drilling fluids, solid control, well bore cleanout, and drilling waste management equipment.

“We are pleased to work together with Petronas once again in Myanmar. Back in 2004, we provided similar integrated services for its offshore drilling activities. We are also excited to be part of PETRONAS’ first onshore block in Myanmar and we are confident of our team and their ability to continuously deliver excellent products and service quality,” said Shah Hakim Zain, ceo of Scomi Energy Services.
