Scorpio charters out three bulkers

NYSE-listed Scorpio Bulkers announced it has signed agreements to charter out three vessels.

Scorpio says the three it is chartering are: 2015-built ultramax SBI Leo for between five-to-seven months at $9,000 per day; ultramax SBI Achilles for six-to-eight months at $11,000 per day; and the 2014-built kamsarmax SBI Cakewalk for five-to-eight months at $9,000 per day.

Monaco-headquartered Scorpio, which also has principal offices in New York, owns 41 vessels, comprising 26 ultramaxes and 15 kamsarmaxes.
