Scorpio Services buys fifth tranche of Scorpio Bulkers shares

Scorpio Services Holding (SSH) has purchased 694,421 common shares in NYSE-listed Scorpio Bulkers, the fifth tranche of shares to be bought by the affiliate company since July.

SSH paid an average price of $1.62 per share for the tranche, which is a slight increase on the average $1.61 per share paid on September 1, when the company completed its acquisition of 552,481 common shares.

Scorpio Bulkers currently has 336,227,302 common shares outstanding, of which SSH now owns 6% (20,036,403 shares).

SSH technically and commercially manages the Scorpio fleet through its subsidiaries.

At the time of writing, Scorpio Bulkers’ stock is trading at $1.60 per share.
