SeaBird secures work in West Africa

Norway’s SeaBird Exploration has signed an agreement to provide a source vessel for ocean bottom seismic survey work in the Gulf of Guinea.

The project is anticipated to commence late in the fourth quarter of 2016 and will have a duration of around two to three months. SeaBird will deploy its vessel Osprey Explorer for the project.

The contract is the third announced by SeaBird in as many months, securing a survey contract in the Norwegian Barents Sea in September and Belize in October.
