Seadrill secures Saudi Aramco jackup extension

Offshore drilling services provider Seadrill has received a three-year contract extension from Saudi Aramco for the jack-up AOD III.

The extension is in direct continuation of the current contract and will extend the contract expiring date of AOD III to December 2019. Total value of the extension is approximately $112.5m.

Saudi Aramco extended another two Seadrill jack-ups AOD I and AOD II by three years in July. The three units have been working for Saudi Aramco since 2013.
