Seaoil to open new terminal

Manila: Seaoil Philippines is to open its biggest storage terminal in Mindanao with a P500m investment on 15 March to meet growing fuel demands in the area.
The terminal, with a 41m litre capacity, will be the largest one in Mindanao. Its berthing facility can handle vessels of up to 50,000 dwt, and should be able to serve around 200 stations.
“We saw the need for the construction of a new liquid bulk storage terminal to serve the growing demand of fuel products in the Southern Mindanao area,” said Stephen Yu, coo of Seaoil.
Currently, the company operates 10 oil depots and terminals in the Philippines, with a combined storage capacity of 160m litres. [14/03/14]
