Hanoi: Search and rescue teams are scaling back their hunt for a missing captain of a Vietnamese fishing vessel, fearing he is unlikely to have survived three days in the sea. The vessel collided with a Malaysia-flagged barge and a tug on Saturday 17 nautical miles off Vietnam. The barge and tug were en route to Singapore.
Investigations into the accident are ongoing. [14/10/14]
