Shanghai: The mega boxship rush continues with Canada’s Seaspan exercising options for five 10,000 teu vessels at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding. The ships are expected to be tied up to long term charters shortly, New York-listed Seaspan said. The vessels will be delivered in 2015. Seaspan now has 16 firm orders for 10,000 teu vessels at Yangzijiang. [01/10/13]
