Doha: Local authorities in Yemen’s Hadramout have detained the crew of the stricken Shang Yang ship, which lost power off Mukalla last week and has since spilt a large amount of bunker fuel as well as the diesel fuel the ship was carrying in its cargo hold. Efforts to halt the flow of fuel from the vessel have so far failed and local shorelines are being polluted. [18/07/13]
