Shanghai Newseas Navigation acquires ultramax from Raffles Shipping

Shanghai Newseas Navigation, the shipping unit of Orient International Logistics Holding, has announced the acquisition of 64,000 dwt bulker  Ocean Leopard from Singapore’s Raffles Shipping.

The company paid a price of $15.52m for the 2013-built vessel.

According to VesselsValue, Raffles Shipping acquired the vessel, formerly the Star Vivian, just two months ago from compatriot company Norr Systems for a price of $14.8m.

Shanghai Newseas currently operates a fleet three supramax bulkers and one containership.
