Shanghai to open new breakbulk port

Shanghai: Shanghai Nanhui Port, a breakbulk port in the southeast of Shanghai, is going to open in May this year. Phase one of the terminal has developed nine berths which are dedicated to breakbulk and roro cargoes.

The port will focus on serving Shanghai Lingang Industrial Area and build a comprehensive network of transshipment and multimodal transport linking Shanghai with Zhejiang and Jiangsu in the Yangtze River Delta region. [18/03/13]
