Dalian: CSIC-affiliated Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry has inked an agreement China Shipping Tanker (CST) for the construction of two 65,000dwt oil tankers plus one option.
The vessels are expected to be delivered at the end of 2016.
The new order is part of CST’s ongoing fleet update plan. It has sold four aged tankers for demolition this year so far. [16/06/14]
