Sharm el-Sheikh set to handle more cruiseships

Cairo: Maj. Gen. Bahri Hassan Fallah, head of the Red Sea Ports Authority, has said developing the port of Sharm el-Sheikh has cost around EGP100m so that it can handle up to three cruise ships at a time, up from the current single one.

The newly redeveloped port will open in November at the start of the Egyptian tourist season.  [04/09/13]
