Shearwater GeoServices awarded seismic contract

GC Rieber Shipping has announced that its 50% owned geoservices company Shearwater GeoServices has received an award from TGS for the Crean 3D project.

The contract value was not disclosed.

GC Rieber Shipping said the contract has strengthened Shearwater’s backlog in the EAME Region for the 2017 season by approximately four additional vessel months.

The survey will be acquired utilising one of Shearwater’s 3D vessels.
