Shelf Drilling awarded rig contract extensions by Saudi Aramco

UAE-based offshore driller Shelf Drilling has secured contract extensions for four of its jackup drilling rigs from Saudi Aramco.

The High Island II, High Island IV, Main Pass I and Main Pass IV have each secured a four-month extension in continuation of their existing contracts.

The current contracts for High Island IV and Main Pass I expire in October and contracts for the other two rigs expire in November.

Shelf Drilling currently operates a fleet of 37 jackup drilling rigs.
