Shell terminates Noble rig early

Shell has exercised its right to early terminate the contract of Noble Corporation’s jack up rig Noble Han Deul according to Noble’s latest fleet status report.

The original contract of the rig expires at the end of July 2018 and the early termination will see the contract end in late September 2017.

In December 2016, Shell reached agreements with Noble Corporation to amend the existing contracts on three drillships Noble Bully II, Noble Globetrotter I, and Noble Globetrotter II.
