Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian line Shin Yang Shipping Corp (Syscorp) is growing its business in neighbouring Indonesia. The company launched a series of Indonesian services three months ago, mainly transporting animal feeds and related food products.
Syscorp has also started shipping services to Samalaju Port in Bintulu following the operation of its interim facilities comprising two barge berths and one roll-on, roll-off ramp about three months ago.
The new port, which is expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2016, is being built in part by the construction arm of Shin Yang group – Syscorp’s parent. [28/07/14]
