Ships collide off Singapore

Singapore: One man is presumed dead following an extensive search and rescue mission over the weekend. An Indonesian-registered coaster craft, Budi Jasa 18, sank in Singapore’s West Keppel Fairway after colliding with passenger ship, Sea Hawk which was carrying around 200 passengers. Five of the six crew on the Indonesian vessel were rescued. An investigation into how the accident happened is underway.  [11/03/13]
