Siem Offshore scores AHTS contract

Siem Offshore has entered into a medium-term contract for its anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel Siem Emerald.

The 2009-built vessel, currently serving the North Sea market, has been fixed for six months.

The contract has already started and includes options of up to additional six months. Charterer and dayrates have not been disclosed.

The Cayman Islands-incorporated Siem Offshore, with its main offices in Kristiansand, Norway, sports a fleet of 28 vessels, including some that are partly owned.
