Siem Offshore has announced that it has reached an agreement with Fugro Geo Vessels to extend the current charter period for the seismic node vessel Hugin Explorer for 15 months.
for 15 months.Fugro last extended the charter of the 2006-built in April 2012 for a period of six years. The extension will take the firm period of the charter to July 1 2019.
Both parties have further agreed to a purchase obligation for the charterer at the end of the firm period.
