Sincere makes first sale for many years

Sincere Navigation, one of the biggest shipping players on the Taiwanese stock exchange, has sold of one of its oldest capes marking its first sales move in years. The 15-year-old 172,316 dwt Mineral Antwerpen was sold to Greece’s Moundreas for $14.5m, signficantly less than the fair market value MSI gives the ship.

Sincere’s fleet is comprised of 17 ships made up of two handy bulkers, nine capesizes, two kamsarmaxes, a VLOC and three VLCCs.
