Singapore Shipping Corporation offloads car carrier

Singapore: Singapore Shipping Corporation continues to reduce its shipowning exposure while raising its investments in other parts of the maritime universe. The company has just announced it has sold one of the four remaining ships in its fleet, all carriers, the MV Singa Ace.

Rather than being merely an owner Singapore Shipping Corporation has focused more and more latterly on being a maritime services company. Last year, for instance, it bought shares in a ship agency, a terminal and a logistics company.  [17/02/14]
