Singapore tipped as likely QE2 destination

 

Singapore: One of the world’s most famous cruise ships is set to reside in Asia. Dubai firm Istithmar has decided to sell the 70,391 gt Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) to an unspecified company thought to be either in Singapore or Hong Kong. The iconic ship will become a floating hotel. It is set to enter drydock in Dubai to be converted into a five star, 500-room hotel.  [18/01/13]
