Sino-Greek tie up on LNG as marine fuel investigation

Athens: The Technological Institute of Athens and the Engineering University of Harbin have come together to work on solutions for LNG as an alternative propulsion fuel to the existing merchant ships. Greek naval design office E. Petichaki is also involved as is China International Marine Containers, which has recently entered shipowning. More than EUR1m has been earmarked for the project.   [23/11/12]
