Sinochem orders four chemical tankers at Wuchang Shipbuilding

Chinese state-run chemicals trading group Sinochem has placed an order at CSIC-affilated Wuchang Shipbuilding for the construction of up to four 7,200 dwt chemical tankers.

The contract includes firm orders for two ships and options for another two. Delivery of the vessels are scheduled in 2020. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Sinochem is the largest chemical tanker owner in China with a fleet of nearly 100 tankers.
