Sinokor takes Zosco cape pair

Sinokor has taken two seven-year capesizes from China’s Zhejiang Ocean Shipping Co (Zosco).

Brokers indicate the Korean player is paying $14.9m per ship. The Zosco Jiaxing and the Zosco Shaoxing were both built at Jinhai Heavy Industries. Zosco had been marketing the pair since early June.

Only a few capes built in 2009 have been sold this year. Just two other capes built in China have sold in the secondhand market so far in 2016.
