SinoShip has plenty brewing for Marintec China

Shanghai: Asia’s largest shipping show gets underway next Tuesday through to Friday and SinoShip is front, right and centre at the event. Marintec China, now snapping at Hamburg’s SMM as the world’s largest shipping event, will set new records in terms of size and attendance next week.

SinoShip is a media partner, with our 88-page dual language magazine distributed throughout the seven halls of show, this daily news site reporting live from the exhibition and the conference and visitors able to meet up with the SinoShip team at our stand, located centrally in one of front halls at stand N2A45 in Hall N2.

On top of that SinoShip, along with partners Transas, Wilhelmsen Ships Service and Wilhelmsen Technical Solutions, are organising what is likely to be one of the parties of the week. Held at The Brew, a microbrewery at the Kerry Hotel, adjacent to the exhibition halls, this by-invite-only party will have hand crafted beers, wine and a barbeque with hundreds expected to show up.

Comments Grant Rowles, commercial director at Asia Shipping Media, the parent of SinoShip: “Marintec China is a very important event for us and one we have invested much time and energy to ensure our presence will be number one among all media brands at the show.” [29/11/13]

In addition to visiting the SinoShip stand, those attending Marintec China should pay a visit to the following stands:

Transas Marine: Stand N2K31

Transas Marine is a world-leading developer and supplier of high technology solutions for the transport, oil-and-gas and defence industry.  During Marintec 2013 Transas will showcase its new building solutions. Transas supplies type-approved reliable equipment always finding the best solution depending on the ship type and objectives. Designed by mariners for mariners, the user-friendly interface and superb redundancy ensure greater efficiency and an increased level of safety at sea. Transas provides complete project management, starting from system design to coordination of logistics, commissioning and after-sales support.

Transas will also present its solution for diagnostics, maintenance and software support via online remote service. The performance of onboard equipment and its status are monitored in real time and results are reported back to the shipping company.

Visit our booth N2K31 to discuss the best solution and package for your fleet. Transas staff looks forward to meeting you in Shanghai.

Wilhelmsen Ships Service: Stand N3C21

Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) will exhibit at Marintec China 2013 on stand N3C21. The team will focus on promoting products and services for the marine, offshore and energy sectors to assist customers in operating their vessels efficiently whilst at the same time saving costs and ensuring crew safety.

WSS’s Fleet Safety Service Agreement provides a standardised service offering fixed prices for inspection at agreed ports which includes onboard systems and portable equipment. The agreement also provides a single point of contact for vessel owners and operators, in addition to expert customer support teams working in local languages and time zones.

Launched earlier this year, WSS’s new Total Safety Offer consolidates the entire range of safety products and extends the number of stock locations. It also includes improvements to service levels, agreed pricing and increased numbers of service stations.

In addition, WSS will also use Marintec as a showcase for the new Potable Water Test Kit, introduced in August this year in response to MLC2006. The product enables vessel crew to monitor the quality of the potable water onboard, providing tests for common infectious bacteria and in the process, reducing health risks by bacteria proliferation. Also on the stand, we will showcase two new welding machines, both of which are compact, lightweight and promote improved safety assurance.

WSS has been supplying the Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) market for more than 30 years, and throughout 2014 will increase focus on non-OSV markets, providing safety services to customers working in seismic exploration, mobile drilling rigs/platforms/vessels, accommodation platforms, pipe layers and other speciality vessels as well as fixed installations and decommissioning sectors.

Wilhelmsen Technical Solutions: Stand N3C21

Wilhelmsen Technical Solutions looks forward to catching up with friends at Marintec, in addition to showcasing our new solutions including:

Water mist solutions
We are proud to introduce the Unitor XFlow water mist system – a low pressure solution that can replace traditional high pressure water mist systems. With the unique XFlow® water mist nozzle, it spreads fine water mist that extinguishes the fire fast, without any risk to the crew or equipment. The XFlow nozzles can be seen on the stand.

Total inert gas solutions
Wilhelmsen Technical Solutions offer a wide range of inert gas solutions, from Unitor-Generon Nitrogen membrane/PSA systems dedicated for clean liquid dangerous cargo to Maritime Protection combustible solutions dedicated for oil products. A new design model of the Maritime Protection Dry Inert Gas Generator system will be displayed on the stand.

Engine room energy management technology (ER-EMT)
Our EMT experts will be at the exhibition to talk about our new ER-EMT solution. The concept optimises energy efficiency by matching the actual need of fresh air to the engine room and varies the sea water pumps to the actual cooling demand at any given time. Your benefits? Proven results, reduced fuel consumption and a smaller environmental footprint

HVAC marine capabilities
Wilhelmsen Technical Solutions is a leading provider of advanced HVAC solutions for the maritime market. Our cost effective solutions are engineered to minimise energy consumption and the environmental impact. A air handling unit will be displayed on the stand.
