Shanghai: The internal restructure of Sinotrans & CSC has finally made a substantial step, the group has established a dedicated shipping department which will put all its shipping units under one roof, based in Shanghai.
According to Li Zhen, general manager of the shipping department, it is only the first step of the restructure, and there will be more movement soon.
Li said Sinotrans & CSC is expected to register the shipping department as a separate company by the end of this year and gradually integrate all the shipping business into the company. Li revealed that the new integrated company might list on the stock exchange in the future. [02/07/14]
