Sinotrans & CSC to set up shipping headquarters in Shanghai FTZ

Shanghai: China’s third biggest shipping company, Sinotrans & CSC is to set up its shipping headquarter in Shanghai free trade zone in the first half of this year.

The headquarters will integrate ten shipping related companies, including Hong Kong-listed and based Sinotrans Shipping, Nanjing-based Nanjing Tanker, Hong Kong-based China VLCC, Beijing-based Sinochart Group, and Shenzhen-based CSC RoRo Logistics.

Sinotrans & CSC set up a shipping business division in Shanghai in 2014 as part of the initial move to establish a shipping headquarters to integrate its shipping assets.
