Soechi Lines takes product tanker from TB Marine

Indonesia tanker owner Soechi Lines has acquired the 2003-built product tanker Alia from German owner TB Marine.

According to shipbroking sources, the South Korean-built 35,700 dwt vessel was sold for a price of $7m, slightly higher than MSI’s valuation of $6.6m.

This is the fast growing Indonesian owner’s first ship purchase this year, following the acquisition of two tankers last year from ICBC Leasing and Yasa.

Soechi Lines operates a fleet of 47 vessels made up of 42 tankers, four LPG carriers and one FSO.
