Solstad Farstad awarded new contracts

Nowergian OSV giant Solstad Farstad has announced new contracts for two of its OSVs.

Petrobas – Petróleo Brasileiro has extended the present contract for 2003-built support vessel Far Swift for a one-year period in direct continuation of its present contract. The extension keeps the vessel with Petrobras through to the fourth quarter of 2018.

Additionally, SolstadFarstad has fixed 2005-built platform supply vessel Normand Skipper to Statoil for four months, with two-month option, operating on Norwegian Continental Shelf. The new contract commences mid-April 2018.

The value of the contracts was not revealed.

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore.
