Solstad Farstad awarded PSV contracts by Aker BP

Norwegian OSV operator Solstad Farstad has been awarded contracts by Aker BP for the employment of two of the company’s PSVs – the 2013-built Normand Skude and the 2012-built Normand Arctic, for operations in Norergian waters.

The contracts will commence in July 2018 for a firm period of four months with options to extend it by a further four months.

“We are pleased to have secured more contracts with Aker BP. This is another example that the demand for offshore vessels continue to improve,” said Kenneth Lande, EVP – strategic regions in Solstad Farstad.

Solstad Farstad has been trimming its fleet by selling older vessels, having sold two AHTS vessels and two PSVs in May.
