Solstad Farstad scores new contracts for six vessels

Norwegian OSV operator Solstad Farstad has secured new contracts for a six vessels in its fleet.

BP Egypt has declared the one-year option on platform supply vessel Sea Swift, which will see the vessel working for the company through to August 2019.

Equinor Brasil has extended present contracts for two platform supply vessels, Far Scotsman and Far Serenade, by three months each to December 2018.

Additionally, Solstad Farstad has secured ongoing charters for anchor handlers Far Senator and Far Saracen as well as platform supply vessel Sea Swan, operating in Bass Strait, Australia. The vessels will continue supporting the semi-submerisible rig Ocean Monarch upon completion of the current Cooper Energy campaign, which would potentially keep the vessels there until the first quarter of 2019.
