Solstad Farstad secures contract extensions

Norway’s Solstad Farstad has secured contract extensions for two of its vessels.

Construction support vessel Normand Pacific has been awarded a one year contract extension by Prysmian Powerlink, which will see the vessel working with the client until November 2018.

In addition, the contract for platform supply vessel Normand Naley has been extended by six month to May 2018 by an undisclosed client for works in Norway.

The two extensions have a combined value of NOK80m ($10.13m).
