Solstad Offshore hit by scammers

Norwegian offshore firm Solstad has been forced to issue a release, clarifying its HR policy having been hit by scammers.

Solstad Offshore’s Aberdeen office has been hit by scamming attempts, offering jobs on false premises in order to obtain money from individuals.

“The Aberdeen Office does not recruit personnel and our company will never require fees from our applicants,” Solstad Offshore said in a release, adding: “If in doubt whether your job offer is authentic, please contact the HR department at our main office in Skudeneshavn, Norway.”
