Solstad Offshore offloads ageing PSV

Norway’s Solstad Offshore has sold the 1996-built platform supply vessel Normand Carrier.

The vessel has been delivered to its new unnamed owner today, and while Solstad did not reveal the sale price it did say the sale will not have any significant impact on its accounting or cash position.

Normand Carrier has been fixed to Statoil, Maersk, Total, Dong and BP amongst others over its twenty one years service at Solstad.
