Solstad Offshore scores several new contracts

Norwegian offshore owner Solstad Offshore has won several new contracts, sealing work for three platform supply vessels and an anchor handler.

2014-built PSV Normand Service has been contracted to GeoSea for a period of 180 days firm, with up to seven months of options, for wind farm installation operations at the Moray Firth Eastern Development. The contract is scheduled to commence during the second quarter of this year.

Another pair of PSVs, 2014-built Sea Spear and Sea Supra, have  been fixed for a period of three months firm each. The contract, with an unnamed clients, includes options and starts in the second quarter of 2019.

Sea Spear has been also been contracted to Saipem for work in the Mediterranean, commencing this month for 45-day period with options.

Lastly, Solstad has also entered into a new contract for 2009-built anchor handler Far Sagaris with Queiroz Galvão Exploração e Produção in Brazil. The charter commences this month and is for 95 days with a 180-day option. The vessel will be supporting activities at the Atlanta Field in the Santos Basin.
