Sonatrach executes option for LPG vessel at Jiangnan Shipyard

Hyproc Shipping, a shipping unit of Algerian state energy firm Sonatrach, has executed an option for a 13,000 cu m LPG carrier at CSSC-affiliated Jiangnan Shipyard.

The original contract for one 13,000 cu m vessel plus one option was signed in December 2016. The price for each vessel is $40m.

Hyproc Shipping currently operates a fleet of 15 vessels comprising two oil tankers, eight LNG carriers and five LPG carriers.
