South End Tanker Management takes a small tanker from Furtrans

Dordrecht-based South End Tanker Management is reported as the new owner of the 2008-built small chemical tanker FT Foce, now renamed Oratuulia, according to VesselsValue.com.

The sale has been confirmed to Splash by the seller, the Turkish group Furtrans Denizcilik, and according to some brokers familiar with the matter, the price paid for the vessel is some $5.8m. If confirmed, the value would be in line with $5.8m fair market value estimated by MSI’s Forecast Marine eValuator.

For the Dutch company, South End Tanker Management, this ship is the ninth in a fleet of small chemical tankers ranging from 4,000 to 13,000 dwt capacity.
