Star Bulk offloads another

Athens: NASDAQ-listed drybulk owner Star Bulk has announced the sale of panamax dry bulk vessel Star Christianna (74,577 dwt, built 1998).

The company did not reveal either the price or the buyer, but did say that the vessel was delivered to the buyer on June 23.

Last week, Star Bulk sold ageing capesize Star Mega (170,631 dwt, built 1994) for demolition and the Star Christianna is also expected to be scrapped.

Star Bulk has six 1990s built vessels left in the fleet made up of one capesize, four panamax and one handysize.
