Statoil exercises second option on Odfjell Drilling semi-submersible

Odfjell Drilling has announced that Statoil has taken up its second of four three-well options for 1983-built semi-submersible rig Deepsea Bergen.
 
Statoil took the rig on contract for a one firm well campaign with four options of three wells each.
 
This latest option is expected to take around 75 days and follow on directly from the first option which Statoil exercised in December, which was modified to two wells.
