Norwegian owner Eidesvik Offshore has announced that Statoil has declared a one-year option on platform supply vessel Viking Energy.
.The extension begins April in direct continuation of the current contract, signed in November 2015.
Viking Energy, the world’s first LNG-fuelled PSV, will be prepared for shore power and equipment to improve fuel consumption measurement will be installed. It has been on contract to Statoil since it was first delivered in 2003.
