Stefano Rosina leaves Premuda to start new shipping advisory

Stefano Rosina, former chief executive officer of Premuda, has announced his exit from the Genoa-based shipping company now controlled by Pillarstone to launch a new advisory firm active in the shipping industry.

Rosina and Partners is the name of the new firm “which is taking shape at the moment” Rosina told Splash.

“I cannot reveal many details since we are still working on the team and some of the guidelines, but what I can say is that I want to put at disposal of the market the skills I got working for more than 30 years for a listed company. In the last five years, I have been directly involved in an in-depth restructuring plan and for the last two I had the chance to cooperate closely with an important private equity fund,” Rosina said.

Rosina also specified that the Genoa-based Rosina and Partners will be something different from advisory firms like Lazard and Venice Shipping & Logistics, which have been very active in Italy in the recent past.

It will be more money market, investment funds and financial institution focused, Rosina told Splash.

Premuda is set to be led by Marco Fiori from January, who is leaving as CEO of d’Amico International.
