Stena Drilling has been awarded a contract extension by BP for 2012-built drillship Stena IceMAX.
.This extension will see the vessel mobilised to the US Gulf of Mexico, in direct continuation of the initial one-well programme offshore Newfoundland, for a period of two years.
“Stena Drilling are delighted to be able to announce this contract extension with bp for the Stena IceMAX and look forward to commencing operations later this year,” the company states on LinkedIn.
