Straits Auto Logistics adds largest ship to the fleet
Kuala Lumpur: Straits Auto Logistics has bought its sixth roro for $20m. The ship can carry 5,340 cars, three times as many in the company’s existing fleet.
“Customers are demanding speedy and flawless delivery of their prized vehicles, so we have upgraded our capacity with this modern class vessel,” managing director Adrian Henry D’Silva said.
Straits Auto Logistics is an 11-year-old joint venture between Japan Nippon Yusen Kaisha Group and local interests. [03/10/13]
