Subsea 7 awarded major contract in the Gulf of Mexico

Norway’s Subsea 7 has been awarded a major contract by an unnamed client for work in the Gulf of Mexico.

The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea pipelines, and transport and installation works associated with the project. Offshore installation activities are scheduled for 2020.  

The contract value is between $50m and $150m.
