Subsea 7 ends Malaysian JV

Subsea 7 and Malaysia’s Sapura Energy have brought their joint venture, SapuraAcergy, to a close.

SapuraAcergy’s heavylift and pipelay vessel  Sapura 3000 has been sold to a subsidiary of Sapura Energy.

The pair cited changed long-term plans as the reason for the end of the venture.
